New York State Veal Calves CAFOs

There are only two veal calf facilities large enough in New York State to be considered housed in large CAFOs. New York State defines a large veal valf CAFO as one that houses more than 1000 animals.  Hainsworth Calf Management in Mt. Morris (14510) in Livingston County houses 1700 veal calves. Cy Heiffer Farm in Elba (14058) in Genesee County houses 1200 veal calves.
